New Business Development

Manchester, NH

Key Purpose of the Role:
To close deals through targeted business growth with B2B clients and channel partners. We have ambitious plans for 2012 and beyond. You will have the opportunity to target and grow clients with the support of a great team.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and lead regional client acquisition strategy, working closely with leadership team
  • Generate sales from new strategic accounts and relationships
  • Effectively articulate our value proposition and vision to key decision makers at target new business prospects
  • Build relationships with each targeted prospect to fully access and understand their business needs and long-term strategic requirements
  • Ensure all necessary resources for the successful closing of new clients are managed effectively and efficiently
  • Own the selection and delivery of all marketing materials, including the preparation and articulation of proposals, case studies and collateral
  • Represent the firm as an innovative, dynamic and results-oriented agency with whom like-minded clients should work
  • Identify and develop 3rd party relationships that can enhance our value proposition
  • Identify and attend key industry events and networking opportunities representing the agency
  • Close deals

Qualifications:

  • Entrepreneurial, business savvy and self-starter
  • Personable with proven track record in building successful business relationships
  • Clear, logical and innovative thinker
  • Excellent presentation, writing and communication skills
  • Strong marketing and business background; preferred marketing experience includes advertising, branding, SEO, PPC, PR, social media, email marketing, ecommerce
  • Effective prioritization, organization and delegation skills
  • Strong ability to influence and persuade
  • Experience pitching and working at an advertising agency ideal
  • Experience dealing with senior decision makers (CEOs, Directors, VPs, CMOs)
  • Pluses: prior business ownership, sales experience, business development experience, client management experience, account management experience, agency experience

Performance Goals:

  • Create Business Development Strategy
  • Generate set goals in first 6 months
  • Record and maintain prospect contacts and opportunities in Salesforce.com CRM
  • Regular communication with leadership and weekly report updates

Public Relations Internship

Manchester, NH (Position starts June 4, 2012)

Energetic public relations intern with general working knowledge of public relations and integrated marketing processes including copy writing, creative, and web production. Must possess exceptional copy writing and communications skills, as you will be working for a wide variety of clients and industries. General computer proficiency is required. Candidates must be able to work at least 16 hours/week. If you are able to take on more hours, you will also be able to take on larger projects. We're looking for individuals who have the commitment and ability to manage the work through to completion. If this sounds like you, please contact us.

  • Interacts with the internal team regularly and participates in the development and implementation of client projects
  • Writes press releases; tv, video and radio copy; web and creative copy; white papers; case studies; and award submissions
  • Prepares new job jackets and project schedules, tracks time, routes jobs for internal approval, and manages job changes
  • Engages in creative, thorough research to support projects
  • Provides administrative support to project team such as copying, acquisition of office supplies, and faxing
  • Proofreads all outgoing projects
  • Keeps supervisor apprised of the status of work through daily/weekly status reports
