Mark Dingman, Graphic Designer

Better known as: aka. Mark

Professional Bio:
Mark got his start as a designer with his Crayola’s and construction paper. Those early creative talents have translated into a flourishing career for over the last 8 years. Mark has developed a strong knowledge of advertising and design in tourism based areas. He has worked on multiple marketing and promotional campaigns in the water park industry, and has contributed to advertising and enhancing the web presence of numerous tourism guides in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region.

A graduate of Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, Vermont, Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design and Graphic Communication.

Getting a Little Personal:
Mark was recently described as a “Lovable Dork.” Do you know what that means? He didn’t either! Upon further discussion, Mark was told that he was the guy who could fix a computer problem or tell you what @nerdist thought of the Blackberry Pearl. Then go out and play nine innings, hit the beach or catch a game with a hotdog and beer in-hand. He prefers “Well-Rounded,” but “Lovable Dork” works too.

If you could hop on a plane to anywhere – where would you go?
St. John, Walt Disney World, or where ever the Sox are playing.

Which do you prefer sushi or hamburger?
Both. Garbage disposal, remember?

Would you rather live at the beach, in the mountains, or in a city?
I live over a beach an hour and a half from the city or mountains. It’s rough.

What is on your iPod/CD player right now?
Fall Out Boy, Rise Against, The Solids, Yellowcard, Green Day, ESPN Podcasts and Row, Row, Row Your Boat.

What time do you wake up in the morning?
6:45am. Unfortunately, my body also has a problem separating weekdays from weekends.

What is your biggest Pet-Peeve?
Texting during any situation that requires someone’s undivided attention. Your BFF Sally’s opinion of what Heidi and Spencer did on The Hills last night can wait.

Can you juggle?
I can juggle ginormous jugs of Juicy Juice. Say that five times fast.

Favorite Book?
I will answer this question the same way I did back in 1999… Drive by Larry Bird. I should really read more than just blogs and “5 things I should know about blah blah” lists.

When life gives you lemons…
Make some lemon meringue, find a large bucket, a doorway, and let the hilarity ensue…
