Professional Bio:
Throughout Kelly’s advertising and marketing career, she has held positions in the nonprofit sector as well as the medical and pharmaceutical industries. While serving as the marketing director for a healthcare group in Denver, she played in integral role in tripling the size of the company over three years. During that time, she was responsible for creating and executing marketing budgets and plans for the multi-faceted organization.

As a former media planner and buyer for an agency in the Baltimore/DC area, Kelly’s repertoire includes expertise in print, television, radio, direct mail, social media and Internet advertising. She also has an array of experience in event planning, graphic design, community outreach and public relations.

Kelly holds a BA in Communications with a minor in Public Relations from the State University of New York at Oswego. While in various roles, she has been involved with the Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau, the American Marketing Association and several chambers of commerce.

Getting a Little Personal:
A self proclaimed moving expert, Kelly along with her husband and cat have had seven homes in three states over the last six years. As a new homeowner, she is looking forward to settling into their new digs and staying a while. Kelly enjoys hiking, running, yoga, going to the beach, good food and wine and, after spending time in Colorado, is admittedly a ski snob.

What is your caffeine of choice?
On a summer day, Cinnamon Dolce Frappuccino Light, no whip. On a fall day, nonfat pumpkin spice latte. On a winter day, nonfat peppermint white chocolate mocha. On a spring day, iced nonfat chai latte. Being new to New England, I don’t get the D&D madness. Team Starbucks!

Which do you prefer sushi or hamburger?
Great Sushi with great company.

Would you rather live at the beach, in the mountains, or in a city?
Monday through Friday in the City. Winter weekends in the mountains and summer weekends at the beach.

What is on your iPod right now?
Jay-Z, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Jack Johnson, Michael Jackson, Jason Mraz, U2, The Fray, Slackstring, Spoon and Lyle Lovett

What is your biggest Pet-Peeve?
Public restrooms without hooks on the door for my purse and incorrect or misuse of quotation marks.

Favorite Book?
Lots! A few are Water for Elephants, The Time Traveler’s Wife, The Help and The Twilight Series (only for the purpose of keeping up on trends, of course). Right now I’m back and fourth between the 4th Twilight book and Atlas Shrugged. Who is John Galt anyway?
